How to Apply Perfume to Make it Last Longer

Two issues with regards to applying perfume:
1. How can we make it last longer?
2. How can we make the smell stronger (while still using the same quantity)?
Chances are you’re already doing this right but, just in case you’re wondering, here’s the 101 on applying perfume or cologne.
The key is to apply the perfume to the so-called pressure points. These are points on your body where the temperature is higher (because they are close to a vein).
Here’s where the magic happens: if you apply perfume on those “hot-spots”, the smell will be a lot stronger.
Here are some common places where us men can apply perfume:
  • our necks
  • our wrists
  • behind the ear
There is one small catch with these pulse points: if they’re not covered by clothing, the smell is quickly lost. If you want the smell to be felt for more than a couple of hours without reapplying, you need to do something.
And the solution is… to cover the pulse points with clothing. That works great for your wrists. Just wear a sleeved dress shirt. But it’s a little hard to cover your ears right?
The key is to also put on some cologne on your chest. The chest is always covered.

In a nutshell
Target your wrists, neck and behind the ears for a stronger scent.
Apply on your chest and cover your wrist with clothing for longer scent.
